TORONTO, March 15, 2014 /CNW/ - While the winning ticket for $50 Million LOTTO MAX jackpot for the Friday, March 14 draw was sold in British Columbia, there were lots of prize winning tickets sold in Ontario, including eight winning MAXMILLIONS tickets.
- The eight MAXMILLIONS tickets were sold in:
- Brampton, worth $1 million
- Kitchener, worth $1 million
- Ottawa, worth $1 million
- Burlington, worth $500,000 (shared with another ticket)
- Mississauga, worth $500,000 (shared with another ticket)
- Mississauga, worth $500,000 (shared with another ticket)
- Ottawa, worth $500,000 (shared with another ticket)
- Stratford region, worth $333,333.40 (shared with two other tickets)
- Three tickets, worth $280,011 each, share in the second prize pool. The tickets were sold in:
- Barrie
- Barrie region
- Toronto
- Four ENCORE tickets, worth $100,000 each, were sold in:
- Barrie
- Oakville
- Toronto
- Toronto
Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario LOTTO MAX players have won over $2 billion in prizes, including 32 jackpot wins and 204 winning MAXMILLIONS tickets from all across the province.
For each $5 play, LOTTO MAX players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to forty-nine. Players must match all seven numbers, in any one set, to win the jackpot and the MAXMILLIONS prizes.
Next week's LOTTO MAX jackpot will be an estimated $43 million. Players can purchase tickets at authorized OLG retailers until 9 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2014 for the draw that evening.
