Election Day in the Scarborough--Rouge River Provincial By-Election is Thursday September 1st, 2016 Français
TORONTO, Aug. 30, 2016 /CNW/ - Fifty voting locations will be open throughout the electoral district of Scarborough—Rouge River from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. (Eastern Standard Time) on Thursday September 1st, 2016, for an estimated 89,089 eligible voters to cast their ballot in the provincial by-election.
There are 11 candidates running to fill the seat as Member of Provincial Parliament for the electoral district of Scarborough—Rouge River. A complete list of candidates is available at elections.on.ca.
Canadian citizens who reside in the electoral district of Scarborough—Rouge River and are at least 18 years of age or older on Election Day, are eligible to vote.
Eligible voters are reminded to bring their Notice of Registration Card and proof of identity or one piece of identification that includes both their name and residential address with them to vote. A detailed list of acceptable identification documents is available at elections.on.ca
