Canada's Tech Week will explore out-of-this-world ideas with next year's theme: Moonshots
TORONTO, Sept. 25, 2018 /CNW/ - Today, on the Elevate Main Stage, Cofounder and CEO Razor Suleman announced the festival's 2019 theme, Moonshots. Following the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, next year's festival will welcome acclaimed Canadian astronaut and bestselling author Chris Hadfield as a keynote speaker on the Main Stage. Elevate: Moonshots will run from September 23-27, 2019.
"We couldn't think of anyone better than Chris Hadfield to help us explore far-reaching ideas and the future of tech and innovation at Elevate," said Razor Suleman.
Chris and Helene Hadfield will serve as 2019 Co-chairs of the Elevate Founders Board.
"We're excited to join this growing festival that unites and celebrates the Canadian and worldwide tech community," said Chris Hadfield.
Elevate 2018 welcomed big names from former US Vice President Al Gore; to Bumble Founder and CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd; to former Google CEO and Alphabet Board Member Eric Schmidt; as well as other leading names in technology, government, finance and entrepreneurship.
