EllisDon Celebrates Corporate Culture Award

Company named one of Canada's 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Nov. 21, 2013 /CNW/ - EllisDon has been recognized as one of the most admired corporate cultures, along with nine others, in the Enterprise category.

Today, Waterstone Human Capital Ltd. released its annual list, now in its ninth year, of Canada's 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures for 2013. Waterstone Human Capital Ltd. - an executive recruitment and human capital consulting practice - created a program that recognizes Canadian organizations for developing a competitive advantage through a culture of best performance. This year's program drew over 600 nominations from various privately-held and publicly-traded organizations across Canada.

In November, the Program's 30-member Board of Governors voted and chose ten winners in four categories - Enterprise, Mid-Market, Growth and Small Cap, and Broader Public Sector. Nominees were judged on six criteria: vision and leadership; recruitment and hiring for fit; cultural alignment and measurement; retention, rewards and recognition; organizational performance; and corporate social responsibility. EllisDon was selected as one of ten winners in the Enterprise category (revenues above $500 million), a testament to it being at the forefront of best practices in Canada.
