EllisDon Named one of Canada's Top 100 Employers

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Oct. 8 /CNW/ - EllisDon has been named as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers. The ranking is determined by Mediacorp Canada Inc. and the full study will be published in Maclean's and The Globe and Mail, on Oct. 8th and 9th respectively.

EllisDon beat out 2,500 other companies to make the list, and the company adds this accolade to its already impressive list of accomplishments. Earlier this year, EllisDon was named, for the second year in a row, as Canada's Top Employer, according to Hewitt's study for Report on Business Magazine. The company is also a Platinum member of Canada's 50 Best Managed companies; and, it has also been on the list of Canada's 30 Best Pension and Benefits Plans for three consecutive years.

To develop the Top 100 list, Mediacorp examines the recruitment histories of over 75,000 employers across Canada which are tracked for its job search site, Eluta.ca. From this group, a select group of employers are invited to apply, and they must complete an extensive application process which includes a detailed review of their operations and HR practices.
