Emergency appeal for the Philippines - L'ŒUVRE LÉGER is sending aid to the victims
MONTREAL, Nov. 11, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Today, two L'ŒUVRE LÉGER volunteers, Françoise Fortin and Jimmy Vigneux, are joining the team already on site to provide drinking water to victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines's southern islands.
Currently on a mission to India, Norman MacIsaac, L'ŒUVRE LÉGER's Executive Director, will travel to Manila to coordinate aid with Kaibigan, a LÉGER Foundation partner organization.
The public is invited to express their solidarity with Philippines disaster victims by making monetary donations to L'ŒUVRE LÉGER, who will ensure proper management.
