Emergency appeal for the Philippines - The LÉGER Foundation is offering information live from Tacloban
MONTREAL, Nov. 14, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - For the past several days, the LÉGER Foundation's intervention team has been helping Tacloban victims. Made up of a professional photographer/videographer and of several bilingual Quebeckers who are humanitarian aid experts, the team is working closely with the army and with the area's Health and Social Welfare departments.
Well informed on the latest developments, the LÉGER Foundation team is available for making interviews and sending pictures and live videos from one of the areas that have been most hardly hit by Typhoon Haiyan.
Two other volunteers will be leaving Montreal tomorrow to provide additional help to the team already on site.
Marie Denise Pelletier, the LÉGER Foundation's spokesperson throughout the world, is inviting the public to express their solidarity with Philippines victims by making monetary donations to the LÉGER Foundation who will ensure their proper management.
