Emmy and Grammy Award-Winner, Chris Rock, to be Headline Performer for Toronto East General Hospital's Laughter is the Best Medicine II, September 27, 2014 at the Allstream Centre
TORONTO, June 3, 2014 /CNW/ - Anticipation has been building for one of Toronto's favourite charity galas, and by far, its funniest. On Saturday, September 27, 2014, Emmy and Grammy award winner, Chris Rock, will headline Toronto East General Hospital's comedy gala— Laughter is the Best Medicine II.
Following on the success of the inaugural event (April 2012) with Jerry Seinfeld, Laughter is the Best Medicine II will see Toronto's own Hollywood export, Will Arnett, return as Master of Ceremonies.
The proceeds from Laughter is the Best Medicine II will contribute to the establishment of the Ken and Marilyn Thomson Patient Care Centre at Toronto East General Hospital, a key initiative as part of the hospital's $211-million dollar Redevelopment Project.
