Empire Theatres acquires AMC Theatre in Whitby

HALIFAX, July 5, 2012 /CNW/ - Empire Theatres, a Canada-wide movie exhibition company, announced today that it has officially taken ownership of AMC Whitby 24.  The theatre will re-open its doors to moviegoers for evening shows on July 5, 2012.
