Empire Theatres Announces Acquisition of Movie Theatre Complex in Spruce Grove, AB

HALIFAX, Jan. 27, 2012 /CNW/ - Empire Theatres, Canada's 2^nd largest movie exhibition company announced today that it will purchase Magic Lantern's Parkland 7 Cinemas in Spruce Grove, Alberta on March 16, 2012.

Empire Theatres will equip Parkland 7 with digital technology in every auditorium to provide local moviegoers with a state-of-the-art movie presentation experience, and enhanced 3D presentation through RealD 3D technology in select auditoriums.
