Empire Theatres is Pleased to Host the 7th season of The Met: Live in HD

HALIFAX, Oct. 9, 2012 /CNW/ - Empire Theatres, a Canada-wide film exhibition company, is pleased to host the seventh season of The Met: Live in HD.

The Met: Live in HD is the Metropolitan Opera's award-winning series of live transmissions. It will feature 12 productions in the 2012-13 season at select Empire Theatres locations in Atlantic Canada, including seven new productions, two of which are Met premieres.

The HD season kicks off on Saturday, October 13th with a new production of L'Elisir d'Amore starring Anna Netrebko.
