VANCOUVER , Nov. 30 /CNW/ - Encanto Potash Corp. ("Encanto" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the closing of a non-brokered private placement on November 30, 2009 of 4,761,910 units (the "Units") at a price of $0.21 per unit to raise gross proceeds of $1,000,000 CAD for working capital purposes.

Each Unit consists of one common share and one-half of one common share purchase warrant. Each whole share purchase warrant entitles the holder to purchase one common share of the Company at a price of $0.35 per common share on or before November 30, 2011 .

The securities issued pursuant to the private placement are subject to a hold period expiring on March 31, 2010 .
