TORONTO, July 12, 2016 /CNW/ - A hearing has been scheduled before a Hearing Panel of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) to consider whether the panel should accept a Settlement Agreement entered into between IIROC staff and Jack Jason Trueman.
The Agreement concerns conduct involving Mr. Trueman's failure to disclose his outside business activities to his Dealer Member firm.
The hearing is not open to the public, but will become open in the event that the panel accepts the agreement. If the agreement is accepted, the Panel's decision and the Settlement Agreement will be made available at www.iiroc.ca.

IIROC formally initiated the investigation into Mr. Trueman's conduct in April 2015. The conduct occurred while he was a Portfolio Manager with the Kingston branch of Cumberland Wealth Management Inc., an IIROC-regulated firm. Mr. Trueman continues to be registered as a Portfolio Manager at that firm.
