MONTREAL, June 15, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Daniel Lebel, Eng., PMP, President, Maninge Groupe-Conseil, was elected to the office of President of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) at the Annual General Meeting of OIQ members on Thursday, June 14 in Montréal. This is the first two-year term as President for Daniel Lebel who has been a member of the OIQ's Board of Directors since 2009 and held the position of Vice President of Public Affairs on the Executive Committee since 2010.
The other members of the 2012-2013 Executive Committee are:
- Stéphane Bilodeau, Eng., President, Groupe Énerstat Inc., elected as Vice President of Public Affairs;
- Martin Lapointe, Eng., Consultant, elected to the Executive Committee as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer;
- Eric Potvin, Eng., Teacher and Project and Business Development Manager, Cégep de Jonquière, re-elected to the Executive Committee as its Vice President as well as Vice President of Professional Affairs;
- Richard Talbot, re-elected to the Executive Committee as public representative appointed by the Office des professions du Québec.
