Enterprise Fleet Management Providing Cost Savings and Efficiencies to Government Agencies, Schools, Nonprofits
ST. LOUIS, Dec. 3, 2018 /CNW/ -- Enterprise Fleet Management has been named an awarded vendor by Sourcewell (formerly known as National Joint Powers Alliance), a service cooperative with a membership exceeding 60,000 government agencies, public and private schools and colleges, tribal governments and nonprofit organizations throughout North America.
Of the six fleet management companies that responded to Sourcewell's solicitation for responses, Enterprise Fleet Management ranked No. 1. Through this contract, Enterprise will provide an array of vehicle acquisition and leasing options, account management, vehicle maintenance and telematics services to the organization's members.
"We're excited to partner with Enterprise Fleet Management as we work to create cost savings and efficiencies for our members," said Scott Carr, Contract Administration Supervisor, Sourcewell. "Given the large number of inquiries already received from our members, it is apparent there is a strong need for Enterprise Fleet Management solutions in the market."
Through its network of more than 50 fully staffed offices, Enterprise Fleet Management manages a fleet of more than 520,000 vehicles in the U.S. and Canada. The business provides full-service fleet management for companies, government agencies and organizations operating medium-sized fleets of 20 or more vehicles, as well as those seeking an alternative to employee reimbursement programs.
Enterprise Fleet Management already partners with hundreds of state and local government agencies to improve fleet performance while reducing costs. As a leading fleet management provider to public agencies, Enterprise Fleet Management also helps improve fuel efficiency, increase productivity and reduce overall fleet size by identifying and minimizing fleet surpluses.
As an awarded Sourcewell vendor, Enterprise will use its vehicle management expertise to proactively create and implement a cost-effective fleet management program for each Sourcewell member agency, including customizable leasing and financing options.
"In every partnership, our goal is to work with clients to develop a long-term, sustainable fleet program that lowers their total cost of transportation, thereby freeing up capital for other critical services and projects," said Dain Giesie, Assistant Vice President of Business Development, Enterprise Fleet Management. "In addition to supporting the diverse needs of Sourcewell members, we're providing state-of-the-art technology and safety solutions that protect their employees and reputations."
Enterprise is widely recognized for its fleet management offerings, and its National Service Department has been awarded the Automotive Service Excellence "Blue Seal of Excellence" award for 22 consecutive years, an industry record.
