TORONTO, Nov. 25 /CNW/ - Put the snow shovels down, warm up the hot chocolate and turn on the television. This holiday season Astral's The Movie Network, along with its multiplex channel HBO Canada and classics channel Mpix, are spreading some festive cheer with an entertainment-filled programming line-up that includes holiday-themed flicks, Hollywood-hit movies, the best from HBO and Showtime, and classics from every era.
HAPPY HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, subscribers can catch a line-up of holiday-themed films and favourites for the entire family to enjoy. On December 24, The Movie Network presents The Christmas Clause at 5:30 p.m., Battle of the Bulbs at 7 p.m., and Four Christmases at 9 p.m. On December 25, it's The Princess and the Frog at 2:35 p.m., followed by Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs at 4:15 p.m., Up at 5:50 p.m. Old Dogs at 7:30 p.m., and the all-time holiday classic, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation at 3:20 p.m. on Mpix.

From December 26 to January 2, The Movie Network presents a Hollywood-hit movie premiere virtually every night at 9 p.m.:
