GATINEAU, QC, Nov. 8 /CNW Telbec/ - The Théâtre du Casino is set to welcome fifteen of Québec's most popular soul music artists, in a captivating performance that recreates the unique atmosphere of Montréal's legendary R'nB mecca of the 50s, 60s, and 70s, the Esquire Show Bar. This mega-show is a must-see and THE holiday outing among family, friends and colleagues.

The sure-fire singing talents of Sylvie Desgroseillers, Michael Dozier, Frank Julien and Andrew Leader bring this incomparable music and era back to life, along with stage beast Jimmy Dooley, who was a regular at the Esquire Show Bar. You'll hear monster hits like Sweet Soul Music, Under the Boardwalk, When a Man Loves a Woman, Georgia on My Mind, Unchain My Heart, Mustang Sally, It's a Man's World, The Thrill is Gone and much more, backed up by three singer-dancers choreographed by Don Jordan and seven musicians led by Marco Tessier.

For more than two decades, the Esquire Show Bar was a must-play venue for soul superstars on the North American tour circuit. James Brown, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Otis Redding, Little Richard, B.B. King, Etta James, Percy Sledge and George Benson all performed there.
