TORONTO, Sept. 10, 2013 /CNW/ - Perennial fan favourite ET Canada LIVE returns to Global over five consecutive Wednesdays in October. Celebrity-hungry fans can expect to see top-notch guests once again on Canada's entertainment powerhouse. From the world of film, music and television to everything in between, ET Canada LIVE delivers exciting, compelling and sometimes unpredictable entertainment moments. Featuring the hottest news of the day, lively discussions and informal panels with hosts Cheryl Hickey (@CherylHickeyETC), Rick Campanelli (@RCampanelliETC and Roz Weston @RozWeston), each 30-minute show (October 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30) also includes surprise celebrity guests.

ET Canada continues to dial up the excitement with the opportunity for one lucky viewer to guest host live during the October 30^th broadcast. Fans are encouraged to upload a photo or video to 'show their smiles' to qualify as one of four finalists to be mentored by ET Canada personalities. These mentoring sessions, designed to teach the finalists the skills to win the coveted title of Guest Host, will be aired as feature stories and posted online. Entries can be posted September 17-October 1, with voting taking place October 2-29.

As part of this fall's ET Canada LIVE, viewers can direct questions to ET Canada hosts and celebrity guests and see their "posts" on the stories of the day via the social stream with the hashtag #etclive, airing throughout each broadcast. Viewers can also vote on the best celebrity fashion, most juicy star moments and take part in ET Canada's fun Face Off online polling. Announcements regarding special guests will take place over the next few weeks.
