TORONTO , Dec. 3 /CNW/ - Global Television and Entertainment Tonight Canada welcome 2010 with ' New Year's Eve in Niagara Falls', a fun-filled evening in celebration of the coming year.

The nationwide fete is an ET Canada first and will kick off with a 90-minute live broadcast from the Falls on Thursday, December 31 beginning at 11pm ET /PT on Global. ET Canada's Rick Campanelli , Kim D'Eon, Rosey Edeh and Roz Weston will lead the countdown and 'rock in' the New Year with special performances by legendary rockers STYX and the multiple Juno Award-winning and Grammy-nominated, Glass Tiger.

With a dazzling fireworks display planned for midnight, the outdoor celebration will take place at the edge of the Falls in Queen Victoria Park and is expected to draw over 30,000 spectators.
