ETFO Welcomes New Media Relations Officer

TORONTO, June 29 /CNW/ - Sam Hammond, President of the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario (ETFO) is pleased to welcome Valerie Dugale as the organization's new media relations officer, effective June 30, 2010. She replaces Larry Skory, who is retiring after four years in the position.

Dugale has an extensive background in communications and media relations. In the past decade, she has served provincial, national, and local labour unions and provided consulting services to a number of social justice and non-profit organizations. Prior to that, Valerie headed several advertising agencies with clients in the private sector as well as provincial, municipal, and federal governments.
