Eugene Melnyk Delivers Notice of Appeal in OSC Matter

TORONTO, Nov. 3 /CNW/ - Eugene Melnyk, founder and former Chairman of the Board of Biovail Corporation (NYSE/TSX: BVF) renamed Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc. (NYSE/TSX: VRX), today announced that he has delivered a Notice of Appeal asking the Divisional Court of Ontario to set aside the Decision released by the Ontario Securities Commission on September 30, 2010 and dismiss this proceeding against him.

No date has been set for hearing of the Appeal.
