European Southern Observatory Relies on Comarch's IT Support
KRAKOW, Poland, Nov. 9, 2015 /CNW/ - The European Southern Observatory (ESO) uses the services of Comarch, an international provider of IT solutions and services. Under the outsourcing agreement signed in October 2015, Comarch provides users with ongoing support and maintenance of the IT infrastructure. The services also include end-user support, as well as maintenance services for the server infrastructure and network systems, video conferencing and telephone equipment of ESO.

ESO decided to start cooperating with Comarch after the verification of bids submitted by tender. The main reason ESO chose Comarch was the long-term experience of the supplier, which provides systems and solutions in the area of IT outsourcing services and projects which are realized globally. Broad expertise gained in similar projects involving high requirements is yet another of Comarch's strengths.
Since October 2015, Comarch has provided services, which include ongoing support for end users, as well as maintenance of the server infrastructure and network and video conferencing systems and telephone equipment of ESO. The project is being carried out at the headquarters of ESO, which is located in Garching, near Munich, Germany and in Chile.
