Eva LaRue to host the Excellence in Design and Awards of Excellence in Toronto

On behalf of Jewellers Vigilance Canada (JVC), The Jewellers' Ball will celebrate the Canadian jewellery and watch industries

TORONTO, Nov. 11, 2013 /CNW/ - Actress and jewellery designer, Eva LaRue, is scheduled to present the winners of the 20th Annual Excellence in Design Awards and to introduce for the first time, the winners of the Awards of Excellence Competition, on Saturday, November 16 at the The Jewellers' Ball in Toronto.

The annual gala, held at the Arcadian Court at the Simpson Tower in Toronto, will be an opportunity to celebrate the Canadian jewellery and watch industries. The evening will also serve as a crucial fundraiser for Jewellers Vigilance Canada (JVC), a non-profit association dedicated to the betterment of the jewellery industry in Canada by advancing ethical practices within the industry. This year, Canadian Jeweller Magazine and Ever Magazine, along with jewellery brands Ritani and India Hicks, will be welcoming LaRue as the official host of The Jewellers' Ball. Canadian Jeweller Magazine is delighted to introduce for the first time, the Awards of Excellence Competition, celebrating the best in product, retail and watch brand innovation. LaRue, known for her starring roles on daytime's "All My Children" and "CSI: Miami," has thrilled audiences worldwide with her enigmatic screen presence. Recently, the actress decided to expand her talents by releasing an inspirational jewellery line called Eva LaRue Fine Jewelry, which is currently featured on HSN.
