Even though Superior Court dismisses stay of procedures, it finds that a sufficiently serious matter exists Français
MONTRÉAL, Oct. 11, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - In its judgement published today, the Superior Court found the existence of a sufficiently serious matter concerning the use of wiretap evidence. The judge further noted that the exclusion of wiretap evidence would not paralyze or disrupt the Commission's work.
Under these circumstances, and after the analysis of other issues related to the law, an appeal of the judgement on the stay of procedures will be prepared in the coming days.
The main motion concerning the admissibility of wiretap evidence will be debated quickly in the coming weeks.
The Fonds will not comment further on the judgment made public today.
