EVENT: Friday June 5 - Sunday June 7, Mega Pet Adoption Weekend at Canadian National Exhibition
TORONTO, May 29, 2015 /CNW/ - This weekend, Torontonians will have a chance to meet hundreds of dogs and cats all up for adoption at Mega Pet Adoption Weekend.
The event takes place from Friday, June 5 to Sunday, June 7 at Exhibition Place, and is the only one of its kind in Canada. Prospective adopters will have the opportunity to meet the available pets, chat with experts and take home their new best friend the same day.
For $25 you can bring home a new family member that has been be spayed or neutered and vaccinated. Standard licensing fees apply to City of Toronto residents.
More than 15,000 animals are placed into shelters each year in the GTA due to the pet overpopulation crisis. The goal of this event is to raise awareness of pet adoption, and find loving homes for hundreds of homeless animals.
There promises to be plenty of wagging tails, snuggles, and smiles.
