TORONTO, June 20, 2016 /CNW/ - The results of a survey of Canadian journalists that assessed a variety of topics of interest to public relations professionals, will be presented by CPRS Toronto on Thursday, June 23, 2016.

CPRS Toronto, in partnership with research firm Leger and Canada's largest newswire service provider, CNW, surveyed Canadian journalists on topics such as how to pitch journalists, where they source their ideas, how they access news releases, and which social media platforms they use for their jobs.

The event, "Everything you wanted to know about journalists but were afraid to ask," includes a presentation of the survey results by Dave Scholz, Managing Partner, Leger and CNW's Laurie Smith, Vice President Strategic Communications, Media and Audience Relations. The event will be held at 20 Toronto Street, on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

A panel of distinguished journalists and PR practitioners will participate in a discussion responding to the survey results, moderated by Daniel Tisch, APR, FCPRS, President and CEO, Argyle Public Relationships.

The panel will include:
