EVRAZ applauds Canadian Government's Approval of Northern Gateway
Pipeline will provide economic development and job creation
REGINA, SK, June 17, 2014 /CNW/ - EVRAZ North America applauds today's decision by the Canadian government to approve the Northern Gateway pipeline. The approval, subject to the completion of 209 conditions outlined by the Joint Review Panel, is part of one of the most rigorous and thorough of its kind in Canadian history.
"We enthusiastically applaud this approval as it generates outstanding economic development for Canada through the direct creation of over 3,000 construction jobs and 560 long-term jobs in British Columbia," said EVRAZ North America President and CEO Conrad Winkler.
