EVs are landing in Yonge-Dundas Square on August 12th
TORONTO, Aug. 8, 2012 /CNW/ - On Sunday, August 12, 2012 Plug'n Drive is hosting its first annual "EV Day" at Yonge-Dundas Square in downtown Toronto from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This inaugural event is bringing together all the key players in the electric car industry for a showcase and the largest electric car test drive that downtown Toronto has ever seen. There will be seven electric car models on display and five models will be available for free test drives.
The event is sponsored by: Ontario Power Generation, CAA, Norton Rose LLP, Golder Associates, Bennett Jones LLP, TD Bank and Toronto Hydro - Electric System Limited.
Cars on display include:
- Chevrolet VOLT
- Fisker Karma
- Mitsubishi i-MiEV
- Nissan LEAF
- Toyota plug-in Prius
- Toyota RAV4 EV
- smart fortwo.
