TORONTO, Aug. 10, 2012 /CNW/ - Excellon Resources Inc. (TSX:EXN) ("Excellon" or "the Company") today announced the resignation of Mr. Steve Poad, Chief Financial Officer effective immediately. The Board would like to thank Mr. Poad for his contributions to the Company and wish him the best in his future endeavours.
Mr. Rupy Dhadwar, has been appointed Chief Financial Officer effective immediately. Mr. Dhadwar has been with the Company since 2010 and was the Company's Corporate Controller. Mr. Dhadwar holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University and obtained his chartered accountant designation during his tenure at MacGillivray Partners, Chartered Accountants. Mr. Dhadwar brings with him a range of experience and expertise in accounting, finance and business. The Board of Directors look forward to his contributions to the Excellon team.
