EXFO is proud to contribute to help rebuild the telecommunication network destroyed by Typhoon Haiyan.
QUEBEC CITY, Nov. 26, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - EXFO is proud to contribute to the effort given to rebuild the Philippines' infrastructures which have been destroyed by the typhoon, Haiyan, on November 8th. In collaboration with our local distributor, Access Frontier, EXFO will donate testing units to local operators PLDT (Philippine Long Distance Telephone) and Globe Telecom. These units including our OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) and OSA (Optical Spectrum Analyzer) will help telecommunication companies detect and analyze network failures. It is very important to get networks up and running quickly to help the victims reconnect with their families.
"On behalf of the whole EXFO team, our thoughts are with the people affected by this devastating event. We feel powerless, and we hope that our contribution will help as many people as possible," said Germain Lamonde EXFO's Chairman, President and CEO.
