Andy Brown, currently CEO of Sand Hill East Ventures and Street Scale IT Group; Pierre Marc Johnson, former Premier of Quebec and current advisor to Western governments around the world; Thierry Karsenti, Special Advisor to the Canadian Government on the integration of technology into the classroom; and Becky Wanta, former CIO of MGM International, Best Buy and former CTO of Pepsico and Wells Fargo, will all become inaugural members of EXO U's Board of Advisors effective today.
Over the coming months, the board and management team may continue to search for additional world-class individuals to join the Board of Advisors to help guide the company's strategic direction.

About Andy Brown
Andy Brown currently serves as CEO of Sand Hill East Ventures and Street Scale IT Group, a company providing IT services associated with datacenters and cloud hosting to the financial sector and other regulated industries.
From September 2010 to October 2013, Andy served as Group Chief Technology Officer of UBS. Andy worked as Head of Strategy, Architecture and Optimization at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2008 to 2010. From 2006 to 2008, Andy was the CTO of Infrastructure at Credit Suisse. Prior to Credit Suisse, Andy spent 10 years at Merrill Lynch holding various positions, including Chief Technology Architect, CIO of Direct Markets, and Head of Networks, Market Data and Email.
Recently, Andy was a director at ServiceMesh which sold to CSC in November 2013, Founder of Desktone which sold to VMware also in November 2013, and Advisor to Cyvera which sold to Palo Alto networks in March 2014. Andy holds a BSc. Honors degree in Chemical Physics from University College London.
About Pierre Marc Johnson
Lawyer and physician, by training, author, lecturer, Mr Johnson is a former Premier of Québec. He is Counsel in Montreal to Lavery, one of Québec's most prominent business law firms. In the past 20 years, he has sat on more than 25 corporate senior and junior boards as well as advisory committees in Canada, the US and Europe, including Holcim Canada, Orthosoft, Vincor, Medicago, the Dow Chemical Company as well as Air Canada and its affiliates. In the past, he has served as negotiator, mediator in various United Nations environmental and development conventions and is presently the chief negotiator of the Québec Government on the Canada-EU free trade negotiations.
About Thierry Karsenti
Thierry Karsenti, M.A., M.Ed., Ph.D. holds the Canada Research Chair on Technologies in Education. Thierry Karsenti is also a Full Professor at the University of Montreal. His field is the Integration of Information and Communication Technology into Teacher Training. Professor Karsenti's research center, the CRIFPE, received the Whitworth Award for Best Education Research Center in Canada from the Canadian Education Association.
His technopedagogical accomplishments and innovations in teacher training have been recognized in many countries. He has won the Prix du ministre de l'Éducation and the Prix Hommage awarded by the Government of Quebec, the Prix d'Excellence en Conception Pédagogique Award of Excellence from the Canadian Association of Distance Education, and the Prix PEDAGOGICA-RESCOL for pedagogical innovation in the integration of ICT. He also won the MERLOT prize for his work on ICT and education in Africa. Finally, he is also an Apple Distinguished Educator.

Becky Wanta is the former Chief Innovation Officer of MGM Resorts International and Best Buy. Becky served as Chief Technology Officer at Pepsico and Wells Fargo. She currently has her own consulting firm where she has provided counsel to prominent brands and companies including Coca Cola, Target, DuPont, Caterpillar, and Ralph Lauren. Becky worked at MGM Resorts International for 3 years as CIO and CTO, Chief Technology Officer at Pepsico for 4 years, and Chief Technology Officer at Wells Fargo for 4 years. Becky holds a Masters degree in Banking from the Pacific Banking School at the University of Washington, an MBA from Golden Gate University, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration focused on MIS from Chapman University.
