TORONTO, Oct. 15 /CNW/ - Canadians are about to enjoy the fourth annual Caribbean Week -- a celebration of the sights, sounds, colours, culture and unique vacation experiences of the Caribbean. From October 21st to 29th, the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) will give Canadians the opportunity to experience some of this diverse region's best chefs, cocktails, entertainment and music in Toronto and Montreal.
Toronto media are invited to a series of events throughout the week, including an exclusive media day on Friday, October 29th at George Brown College. The day will begin with a Media Marketplace followed by a Caribbean Media Awards Luncheon. The week will conclude with Rum and Rhythm, an event that is also open to the public. This is a unique opportunity to experience the best of the Caribbean without having to step aboard a plane!

Rum and Rhythm will also feature the sounds of the Caribbean with musical performances by Juno award-winning jazz musician Eddie Bullen and the island sounds of the steel drum. | ||
