MONTREAL, Oct. 13 /CNW Telbec/ - Exploration Orbite VSPA Inc. (TSX: ORT.A) is happy to announce that it has obtained the construction permit it needs to implement its pilot project. Issued by the City of Cap-Chat, the permit will make it possible to simultaneously set up the technological process and other equipment related to the project, including necessary modifications to the facilities. The permit in question was granted following approval of drawings and specifications by the relevant local and provincial authorities, and work will begin very shortly.
In addition to the construction permit, the company is also pleased to announce that it has received the first pieces of large scale equipment needed for its upcoming operations. The various types of equipment, which come from Ontario and the United States, will play an important role in the pretreatment and leaching of raw materials used by the company. The equipment notably includes a grinder and a concentrator used to collect and recycle the acids used in the leaching process.
"We're clearly very satisfied with the course of operations, which are still in line with timelines and budgets we set a long time ago. Now that we have the construction permit and the new equipment, the company is entering a critical new phase, and we're happy and optimistic about the way things have gone thus far," said Exploration Orbite president and CEO Richard Boudreault.
