Extended LCBO summer store hours start this long weekend

TORONTO, May 14 /CNW/ - Beginning May 21, many resort and cottage-area LCBO stores that normally close at 6:00 p.m. will remain open until 9:00 p.m. on Friday evenings. Select LCBO stores in these communities will also stay open later on Saturday evenings. In most cases, these extended Friday and Saturday evening hours will continue until the Labour Day weekend.

All LCBO stores will be closed on Victoria Day, Monday, May 24. As with most government offices, LCBO's Toronto head office will also close on Victoria Day. Some agency stores will observe their normal business hours on May 24. Agency stores are locally-owned retailers that contract with LCBO to sell beverage alcohol, along with other products, in communities that are too small to support regular LCBO stores.

Customers should check for individual store hours with their local LCBO store or online at www.lcbo.com using the 'Store Search' feature. The TTY number for the deaf and hard of hearing is 416 864-6898 or 1-800-361-3291. Both the LCBO Infoline and Customer Service will be closed on Victoria Day.

Please bring a reusable bag when shopping at the LCBO and take your empty beverage alcohol containers (large and small glass bottles, PET plastic, Tetra Paks, bag-in-box and cans) to The Beer Store for a full deposit refund.
