MONTREAL, May 18, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - La Coop fédérée is pleased to welcome Robert Dutton as the external director invited to sit on its Board of Directors.
La Coop fédérée's Board of Directors will benefit from Mr. Dutton's business expertise, especially in retail trade. As with the other 14 agricultural producer members on the Board of Directors for La Coop fédérée, Mr. Dutton will have many responsibilities and duties. He will serve, in particular, on the audit committee for La Coop fédérée and on the Board of Directors for Groupe BMR, which was recently acquired by La Coop fédérée.

About Robert Dutton
As president of RONA from 1992 to 2012, Mr. Dutton carried out many operational and structural changes. Under his leadership, this company experienced sustained growth and became the largest Canadian distributor and retailer of hardware, renovation and gardening products. Mr. Dutton has a BBA in Administration, and in 2012, he received an honorary degree from the Université de Montréal. Since 2015, Mr. Dutton has been an associate professor at HEC-Montréal and is the chairperson of the advisory committee for Executive Education.
