CHICAGO, June 19, 2014 /CNW/ - Last night, EY announced that Patrick Allin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Textura Corporation (NYSE: TXTR), the leading provider of collaboration solutions to the construction industry, received the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ 2014 Award in the Technology category in the Midwest. The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Allin was selected by an independent panel of judges, and the award was presented at a special gala event at Navy Pier in Chicago on June 18.
"I'm deeply honored to be recognized by EY. This prestigious award is not just for me but for the entire team at Textura. I am extremely proud of the company we've built and the work that this tremendous group of people does every day. This award represents a powerful validation from EY and the judges of our vision, our hard work and our achievements in building a dynamic and highly successful business," said Allin, who co-founded Textura in 2004.
