EY extends strategic alliance agreement with SAS Canada to help organizations improve bottom line with advanced analytics Français
TORONTO, March 7, 2017 /CNW/ - Today EY Canada announced a strategic alliance with SAS Canada, which will leverage achievements realized from EY's alliance with SAS in the US – accelerating the delivery of disruptive analytics services, designed with distinctively Canadian realities in mind.
"Combining EY's cross-sector experience and local knowledge with SAS' market-leading advanced analytics platform, our alliance will allow EY and SAS together to help Canadian organizations and governments gain better insights into their data to drive a better return on data assets, improve customer experience and facilitate strategic advantage," says Alex Mohelsky, EY's Canadian Data and Analytics Leader.
The Canadian alliance focuses on combining SAS' advanced analytics platform and innovative lifecycle management approach with EY's consulting and market experience, giving clients a single access point for advanced analytics service offerings, including areas such as:
- Risk analysis and reporting
- Stress testing and capital management
- Financial crime and fraud prevention
- Forensic investigation, fraud detection, surveillance, and litigation/regulatory response
- Tax reporting and information management
- Improvements in core operations, such as insurance claims fraud management.
- Healthcare analytics, fraud and prescription abuse
- Workforce management, modernization and restructuring
"EY's deep industry and functional experience combined with SAS' market leading analytics platform will help our clients get the most out of their data investments," said Doug McLaren, Director of Alliances and Channels, SAS Canada. "Together EY and SAS will help to enable and accelerate the delivery of analytics services to help organizations achieve greater return on their data investment by making better decisions faster."
"In the world today, harnessing the power of data to compete and thrive is not an option for organizations – it's imperative," adds Mohelsky. "We're excited to work with our Canadian clients on made-in-Canada analytics and technology-enabled solutions, to support their growth today, and in the future."
EY will continue to work closely with SAS' research and development organization to collaborate on the development of new analytics offerings and expand its solution portfolio to address industry-led and globally-relevant client challenges.
