Entrepreneurs are digitalizing operations to unlock new value for stakeholders
HALIFAX, NS, May 30, 2022 /CNW/ - EY Canada is honoured to announce the regional finalists in the EY Entrepreneur Of the Year® 2022 Atlantic program today. Selected by an independent panel of judges, 15 businesses have been recognized for transforming our world through unbounded innovation, growth and prosperity.
"Whether food and nutrition, traffic control systems or collaboration tools, many of this year's finalists are digitalizing traditional industries to drive more efficient and effective products and services for their customers that lead to greater value," says Gina Kinsman, Entrepreneur Of The Year Atlantic Program Co-Director. "It's exciting to see how these entrepreneurs are turning challenges into opportunities by placing people and technology at the heart of strategy to lead to new innovations."
Now in its 28th year in Canada, the Entrepreneur Of The Year program supports, connects and enables entrepreneurs across Canada as they turn groundbreaking ideas into powerful businesses that deliver national and global impact. The program works in tandem with EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women™ and Entrepreneurs Access Network to help businesses grow, scale and overcome ever-evolving challenges, while building an equitable and inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem for all.
"We're also seeing entrepreneurs emerge to address evolving market trends such as financial crime, regulated products and renewable energy — creating leading companies that are unlocking value in response to new needs and demands," says Steve McLaughlin, Entrepreneur Of The Year Atlantic Program Co-Director. "Atlantic entrepreneurs are driving incredible social and economic growth for the region and we couldn't be happier to celebrate their achievements."
