Fact Check: Liberal healthcare promises? Be ready for a wait list

TORONTO, May 16, 2014 /CNW/ - Kathleen Wynne is making big promises in healthcare, but when it comes to one simple healthcare promise for home care wait times, the wait for shorter wait times keeps on growing.

Here are the facts:

When the Liberals needed NDP support to save their jobs, they agreed to 5-day wait times for home care.

But Page 27 of the Budget says "Half of Ontario's Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs) have consistently met the five-day service target for community-referred patients."

That means half of them are missing the targets.

If the Liberals can't keep that simple promise, why should any of their other healthcare promises be trusted?
