MONTREAL, Aug. 30, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - On September 15th, POP Montreal and LA SERRE — arts vivants invite the public to a show by Un Blonde presented as part of POSSIBLES. In addition, Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec, the National Film Board of Canada, the Quartier des Spectacles Partnership and LA SERRE — arts vivants are proud to announce the launch of La Nuit des POSSIBLES on December 8th. These events are part of the official programming of Montreal's 375th anniversary celebrations.

Un Blonde at the Red Roof Church
Imagine a unique evening in a historical site at the St-John The Evangelist Church (Red Roof Church), where a talented musician accompanied by a choir reflects on the theme of spirituality. The project was developed by Jean-Sébastien Audet, alias Un Blonde, as part of POSSIBLES. For the occasion, the Montreal singer-songwriter intends to reimagine the songs from his Polaris Prize-nominated album Good Will Come to You in which he explores, with gospel overtones, the role of spirituality and the sublime in his practice. This exceptional evening will be the only opportunity to hear Un Blonde accompanied by string quartet The Dervich Warhol, a small choir, and other musicians. The event will be free. About Un Blonde
Multi-talented Montreal musician Jean-Sebastien Audet continues to expand the reaches of his output with the increasingly out-there Un Blonde project. His most recent album, Good Will Come to You came out in May 2016.

| On December 8th, POSSIBLES will be taking over the interior and exterior spaces of the Grande Bibliothèque in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles! Throughout the evening, relive the first 11 events and participate in the inauguration of an immersive installation in which visitors can embark on an astounding journey through the fantasy and memory of the library.
This grand celebration will also be the occasion to unveil the POSSIBLES Manifesto, a collection of shared reflections cultivated throughout a year of productions, presented as part of Montreal's 375th celebrations.

ABOUT POSSIBLES
POSSIBLES merges art and civic engagement in the perspective of sustainable community development. Once a month throughout the year 2017, POSSIBLES will present the works of 12 artists from various art disciplines in collaboration with 12 creative partnerships in 12 unusual Montreal venues.
The Objective: Provide a platform to up-and-coming artists by inviting them to create new POSSIBLES exploring 12 local issues that arose from discussions with the community. The year 2017 will impart a manifesto and a methodology to cities from across the globe enabling them to adopt and contribute to the project. An in-depth reflection about the future, an invitation to participate in the creation of a better tomorrow.
