Fallsview Casino adds legendary artists for August

NIAGARA FALLS, ON, May 23, 2012 /CNW/ - Four legendary artists return to the Avalon stage for separate appearances as part of Fallsview Casino's August lineup of live entertainment.

Hosting two evenings of nostalgia, renowned musical artist Neil Sedaka will showcase chart toppers from the 50s, 60s and 70s like "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do" and "Oh! Carol". Also performing an arsenal of hits for one night only, legendary Motown artist Smokey Robinson performs classics like "Going To A Go-Go" and "I Second That Emotion", proving why he's one of the most influential figures in the music industry.

While having performed since the late 60s, they're the quintessential supergroup of the 80s. REO Speedwagon, best remembered for megahits "Can't Fight This Feeling" and "Keep on Loving You", rolls back into Fallsview Casino for two nights on August 17 & 18.

Closing out the month with a performance on August 30, the legendary Liza Minnelli, one of the few entertainers to win an Oscar, an Emmy, a Grammy and four Tony Awards, will once again grace the stage at the Avalon.
