New three tournament format sure to provide drama

NIAGARA FALLS, ON, Oct. 30 /CNW/ - Fallsview Casino has the recipe to shake off the winter doldrums in Niagara with the introduction of a hot new poker tournament scheduled for January 2010 .

The Fallsview Casino Poker Classic will be held in the resort's Grand Hall from January 8 to 14.

This tournament is unique allowing Texas Hold 'Em players to enter into all three events. If lady luck has her way, one individual could end up at three separate final tables for a chance to win a piece of the $2.3 million prize purse (based on full registration of 900 players).

Players can buy directly into one of the three main events at an entry fee of $1,000 , $2,500 or $5,000 , depending on which tournament they wish to enter. Alternatively, players can choose to battle their way into one of the main events through satellite tournaments. Satellites start October 30, 2009 with entry fees as low as $90 .
