Families-at-risk get a lot of little help from Eglinton Square
TORONTO, April 30, 2014 /CNW/ - Scarborough shopping centre Eglinton Square is asking shoppers to help it support young families at risk through a charitable initiative called THE BIG LITTLE GIVE.
Shoppers are encouraged to donate "little things" (household items, toiletries or diapers, etc.) and spare change with all proceeds going to Rosalie Hall, A Young Parent Resource Centre located near the mall.
Rosalie Hall offers young women, men and their children a range of early intervention, prevention and treatment services. It has served young families in Scarborough since 1914.
Darren Neely, Marketing/Specialty Leasing Coordinator, explains, "We're all about helping our shoppers with the "little things". This initiative lets us extend that brand promise out into the community and make a real difference in the lives of those less fortunate. Partnering with such a well-respected organization like Rosalie Hall was a perfect fit."
Shoppers are asked to bring donations to Eglinton Square Guest Services during THE BIG LITTLE GIVE - May 1 to 31, 2014.
