QUEBEC CITY, April 10, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Familiprix and Opération Enfant Soleil are teaming up once more to raise funds in support of high quality pediatrics for all sick children in Quebec. From now until Mother's Day, a mother-daughter necklace set will be available in almost 325 Familiprix pharmacies. Profits from sales will go directly to Opération Enfant Soleil.
"The sale of these mother-daughter necklaces is significant for us," explains Familiprix marketing vice president André Rhéaume. "Families are central to our work with Opération Enfant Soleil, and with Mother's Day coming up, we wanted to highlight the mother-daughter bond. The necklaces are sold as a 2-for-1 so both mothers and daughters can feel proud to wear jewelry reflecting their meaningful gift to Opération Enfant Soleil."

Familiprix has been concerned about the care of sick children for 25 years, and our ongoing humanitarian involvement with Opération Enfant Soleil takes a number of forms throughout the year. The funds raised annually have enabled hundreds of projects to be set up in hospitals, regional organizations, and major pediatric centres. Staff can invest in the latest technologies and create welcoming spaces across Quebec where children get the care they need close to home. Altogether Familiprix has raised almost $12.5 million for the organization through an array of initiatives, the steady involvement of pharmacist-owners, and fundraising drives organized by the head office.
The mother-daughter necklaces—featuring a small heart nestled inside a big heart—are made of stainless steel and sold as a pair. The set will be available at Familiprix for $35 + tax while supplies last or until Mother's Day.
