Arlene Dickinson hosts second annual Well Dressed for Spring event in support of Wellspring.
TORONTO, Feb. 19, 2013 /CNW/ - Wellspring, a network of cancer support centres, hosts the second annual Well Dressed for Spring fundraiser in collaboration with Holt Renfrew and Women in Capital Markets. Following the success of last year's event, this one night, high-energy fashion show brings together the biggest names in finance, fashion and media for a night of glitz and glamour. This exclusive networking event, private shopping experience and cocktail reception will be emceed by Arlene Dickinson (CEO of Venture Communications and venture capitalist on the CBC television series Dragons' Den and The Big Decision).

Founded in 1992, Wellspring provides support to individuals, family members and professional caregivers who are battling any type of cancer, at any stage, without need of medical referral. This includes coping skills, expressive therapies, educational workshops and presentations, and cancer rehab programs. 3,000 people are served every year in the GTA through 6,000 program sessions delivered with the help of 500 volunteers.
