FCM Annual Conference highlights: Friday, May 28, 2010
OTTAWA, May 27 /CNW Telbec/ - The Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) will host the first day of its 73rd Annual Conference and Municipal Expo(TM) in Toronto on Friday, May 28, 2010. The conference is the largest annual gathering of elected officials in Canada, with over 1,500 municipal leaders in attendance. This is the first year the conference has been held in the Greater Toronto Area since 1995.
The conference is an opportunity for federal leaders to outline their visions for the future of Canada's cities and communities. Seminars and panel discussions will be held on local and national issues.
