FCM Annual Conference Highlights: Saturday, May 29, 2010
TORONTO, May 28 /CNW/ - The Federation of Canadian Municipalities will host the second day of its 73rd Annual Conference and Municipal ExpoTM in Toronto on Saturday, May 29, 2010. The conference is the largest annual gathering of elected officials in Canada, with over 1,500 municipal leaders scheduled to attend. This is the first year the conference has been held in the Greater Toronto Area since 1995.
The conference is an opportunity for federal leaders to outline their visions for the future of Canada's cities and communities. Seminars and panel discussions will be held on local and national issues.
