OTTAWA, Feb. 20, 2020 /CNW/ - Rémi Sabourin, AEFO President, will be joining AEFO and other union members on a few picket lines on February 21, a province-wide strike day for some 200,000 teachers and education workers. He will be speaking to media on location.

Here is the schedule of AEFO President Rémi Sabourin on February 21. Mr. Sabourin will be at the following locations in the Toronto area:
9:30 a.m.: press briefing outside of Queen's Park, on the path to the south entrance, with the presidents of the three other education unions
11 a.m.: March on Hurontario, at the corner of Courtney Park Drive and Hurontario Street, in Mississauga. This picket line will stretch 30 km along Highway 10, from Lakeshore Street to Mayfield. Twenty thousand people are expected to be there.

AEFO has about 12,000 members and represents French-language elementary and high school teachers in Ontario, from both Catholic and public school boards, as well as professional and support staff working in various French-language workplaces.
