Federal Funding Supports Upgrades to the Two Rivers Gallery in Prince George - Government of Canada invests in Prince George Regional Art Gallery Association
PRINCE GEORGE, BC, Feb. 17, 2014 /CNW/ - The Government of Canada has provided $38,225 in funding through the Canada Cultural Spaces Fund that will allow the Prince George Regional Art Gallery Association to purchase and install new specialized storage racks at the Two Rivers Gallery.
Dick Harris, Member of Parliament (Cariboo-Prince George), announced this support today on behalf of Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages Shelly Glover.
The new equipment, which will be used to securely store two-dimensional artworks, will triple the Gallery's current vertical storage capacity and safeguard pieces for future exhibition.
