- This past summer, FedEx Express Canada expanded its international shipping portfolio to provide FedEx International Economy(R) service, offering economical alternatives for less urgent shipments with the same quality and reliability for which FedEx is well known. - FedEx Ground International customers can now enjoy faster service as the company reduced transit times in over 3,200 Canadian and U.S. cross border lanes. - In mid-October, FedEx Express announced it completed the expansion of its European hub at Charles de Gaulle in Paris, France and the expansion of its bonded warehouse at Guadalajara International Airport in Jalisco, Mexico. - FedEx Express accepted delivery of its first Boeing 777 Freighter, offering greater payload capacity and range and using 18% less fuel. - FedEx Express began operation at its new Asia Pacific hub located in Guangzhou, China in February. - FedEx Trade Networks has opened 14 new, international freight forwarding locations so far this year. Locations in Asia, Europe and Latin America, allow FedEx to deliver more comprehensive global supply chain solutions to customers. - Recently, FedEx Express further enhanced its overnight services between Asia and Europe with the introduction of a new next-business- day service connecting mainland China, Hong Kong and Singapore with France and Germany. - In the last year, FedEx Express began operations of a domestic next- business-day service in Mexico.
